- Purchase HIPAAMagic directly from Empire Medical Review Services, by phone, fax, or E-mail: Tel: 262-240-9700 Fax: 262-240-1135 E-mail: sales@electroniclaim.com
- Complete the initial setup of the HIPAAMagic lookup tables. This is mostly names, addresses and ID numbers.
- Create a claims batch transmission file from your current billing software, the same way you do now.
- Run the HIPAAMagic translator against the claims batch transmission file, to convert it into the new HIPAA compliant format.
- Transmit the translated file to your payer. You're done!
