HIPAAMagic has the ability to create reports which are in the same format as the examples in the implementation guide. These reports are easy to read and offer a complete description of the data contained in an ANSI file. ANSI electronic data interchange (EDI) messages do not contain formatting characters such as carriage returns or line feeds. This means an ANSI message is a single long string of characters. Without reporting abilities it is difficult to read and understand an ANSI file.
